Swimming

Children in Year 3 visit the local Leisure Centre every week as part of their PE curriculum. They practise stroke development, water safety and water confidence.
We have an excellent record over the past few years of coaching the children to become confident swimmers.
Mrs Moore also works extremely hard to organise the Hinckley Area Swimming Gala every year. The most talented swimmers (Years 4, 5 & 6) are identified and represent us against other local schools.
In 2016 we came 1st out of 14 schools (making us the best 'school with or without a pool!')
