Swimming
Children in Year 4 visit the local Leisure Centre every week as part of their PE curriculum. They practise stroke development, water safety and water confidence. The aim is that children can confidently swim 'at least 25m' unaided.
We have an excellent record over the past few years of coaching the children to become confident swimmers.
Mrs Moore also works extremely hard to organise the Hinckley Area Swimming Gala every year. The most talented swimmers (Years 4, 5 & 6) are identified and represent us against other local schools.
In 2025 we came 1st in the Hinckley & Bosworth area!
