SKETCHLEY HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL

Headteacher's Welcome
|
Welcome to our school and our website.
I hope you will find all of the information you require about this wonderful school. Having taken over as Head teacher at the start of the Summer term 2022, I am proud to lead such a fantastic school. The following information will provide you with a small sample of what the children will learn and encounter throughout the school day. At Sketchley Hill we explore a Curiosity Curriculum to improve the enquiry, research and investigative skills of our children in their learning – to encourage our children to be excited about their learning! Each half term there is a new Curiosity Curriculum theme designed around a question that rapidly engages our children, parents and carers. Over the year children will investigate questions such as ‘What does a T-Rex eat?’, 'Is graffiti art or vandalism?’ and ‘What was it like to be a soldier in World War 1?’ Lots of information about our Curiosity Curriculum across the year groups and our school can be found on this website as well as a link to Twitter that shows all the amazing things that Sketchley children get up to. If you would like to find out more, please give the school office a ring on 01455 238640 to arrange a tour and see the school in action! Mr. L. Lee Headteacher |
