Welcome to our school and our website.
I hope you will find all of the information you require about this wonderful school.  Having taken over as Head teacher at the start of the Summer term, there is lots for me to learn too!

The following information will provide you with a small  sample of what the children will learn and encounter throughout the school day.

At Sketchley Hill we explore a Curiosity Curriculum to improve the enquiry, research and investigative skills of our children in their learning – to encourage our children to be excited about their learning! Each half term there is a new Curiosity Curriculum theme designed around a question that rapidly engages our children, parents and carers.

Over the year children will investigate questions such as ‘What does a T-Rex eat?’, 'Is graffiti art or vandalism?’ and ‘What was it like to be a soldier in World War 1?’

Lots of information about our Curiosity Curriculum across the year groups and our school can be found on this website as well as a link to Twitter that shows all the amazing things that Sketchley children get up to.

If you would like to find out more, please give the school office a ring on 01455 238640 to arrange a tour and see the school in action!
