Playgrounds and equipment

At Sketchley Hill we have a variety of outside areas to use as extended classrooms as well as play areas.

In Foundation Stage there is a fenced area which is solely for the use of the Foundation Stage children; it provides a secure and safe environment for the children to both learn and play.
The children in Key Stage One and Key Stage Two both have their own parts of the tarmac area on which to play, these are also used during PE and after school for sporting activities.

In our wild area called ‘The Caterpillar Walk’ there are large trees, shrubs, wild plants and pathways where the children access outdoor learning in several areas of the curriculum.
