Remote Learning

On this page, you will find information about the Remote Learning procedures that are in place at Sketchley to ensure learning and feedback continues if the school has to close again for any reason.
If your child’s bubble is sent home or the whole school closes due to a local or national lockdown, our new Seesaw remote learning platform will activate for your child. Your class teacher will set daily activities and lessons linked to the themes covered in that week for as long as your child remains at home. There will be recorded teaching videos from a variety of government approved providers as well as other tasks linked to the Curiosity Curriculum theme your child is working on. Daily feedback from your child’s class teacher will take place for the work your child completes and submits onto Seesaw.
A Seesaw guide for Parents and Carers is attached which details how to access and complete the activities. Your child will be given login details specific to their class and they will be shown how the Seesaw platform works by their class teacher this week. If you need a copy of the login details again, please contact Mr Cader by emailing or calling the school office.
